Ground Floor:
As you enter through the front entrance, you’ll be greeted with the open-plan living area. The Lounge is to your left and the Kitchen/Dining area to your right with a door in the middle which leads to the stairs to the first floor.
Lounge
The Lounge features two couches which can comfortably seat up to 4 guests, a Smart TV and a log burner for those cosy nights after a long walk around the nature reserve. A stable door at the rear provides access to a patio area and the orchard.
Kitchen/Diner
A country-style yet contemporary Kitchen is on the right side of the Cottage and features everything you need for a home-from-home experience. There is an under-counter fridge and a freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a single electric oven and an electric hob.
There is a dining table located next to the Kitchen, which comfortably seats up to four guests, which overlooks the courtyard at the front of the home.
First Floor:
This Cottage is quirky in style, in which all the rooms upstairs are in the roof space, meaning all the ceilings are low, so please mind your head!
Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom features a double bed with luxury linens and throws with plenty of storage space for personal items.
Second Bedroom
Comprising of a single bed and a chest of drawers.
Third Bedroom
Also features a single bed.
Family Bathroom
A spacious Family Bathroom which has a toilet, wash hand basin, a corner bathtub and a walk-in shower cubicle.
Outside:
Out the rear of Orchard Cottage, you’ll find a patio area in which you can sit out on a summer evening, listening to the wildlife around you. The garden area also gives you direct access to the shared orchard.
Parking:
Orchard Cottage has a designated parking space, plus numerous overflow car parks in proximity.
There are also multiple electric car charging points across the Estate.
Please Note:
Please note the Lower Mill Estate is a nature reserve and has strict rules about noise and loud parties. Loud noise is not allowed on the estate after 10 pm and this is enforced by security. Stag and Hen parties are not allowed, along with contractor bookings.
Estate facilities are complementary but please note they are separate entities and not owned or managed by the owner. This means the owner is not responsible or liable if the Estate facilities are closed or restricted or unavailable during your stay. You can book the tennis courts by adding your name to the clipboard by the court.
